Certificate Course of Bird Migration and Migration Study Techniques

 The Course includes:

 Classroom sessions, hands-on training / practicals, field visits, interactive sessions.

 Topics: The course will encompass topics such as bird migration, flyways and flyway agreements, birds capture techniques and bird handling, ringing and release. It will also cover data management pertaining to ringed bird sightings, reporting of banded birds, disease monitoring techniques and bird conservation.

 Eligibility: Post-graduation (any stream) with basic knowledge of birds

Course fee: Free of charge

Capacity: 25 Students


Duration: 186 Hrs. Approximately 25 days

                  Classroom sessions – 15 days

                  Field sessions – 10 days
