BNHS-ENVIS Centre participated in the activity section of the Science Express organised by MOEFCC on July 21, 2017. We conducted quiz competitions like ‘Find the Bird’ and ‘Identify Bird’ for different age groups.
‘Find the bird’ was the most popular activity. We gifted a copy of ‘Birds of India’ a publication of the BNHS and a small field diary to the winners of the competition. BUCEROS newsletters and a small pamphlet on ‘Cuckoos of India’ were distributed to students and other visitors. Centre added 15 new members for BUCEROS, which included officials of the Science Express.
