Poster on Forest Owlet

Respected Madam/Sir,

EIACP, RP on Avian Ecology at the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS-EIACP) is releasing a poster to mark Wildlife Conservation Day 2022 (4th December) and to promote awareness about the endangered and endemic Forest Owlet Athene blewitti

Wildlife Conservation Day is a chance to raise awareness about problems endangering the planet's wildlife biodiversity balance and reflect on them and take action. Humans have been hunting, poaching, and killing various wildlife species to the point of extinction due to the demand for illegal animal parts and products on the black market. Owls have been a part of the illegal trade for years now. This poster aims to shed light on the endangered Forest Owlet that thrives in isolated pockets in Central India.

Regards,
BNHS-EIACP
