The Environmental Information System (ENVIS) Resource Partner on Avian Ecology at the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS-ENVIS), is celebrating the birth anniversary of Dr Sálim Ali on 12 November 2022, popularly known as the “Birdman of India”, Sálim Ali (1896–1987) is remembered for his tremendous contribution towards bird research and conservation in India. On the eve, a bird watching trail will be organized on 12th November 2022 at Bhandup Pumping Station for amateur bird watchers.
