The theme of the conference is “Hornbills: Fly Free Fly High”.
Fly free – hornbills are conserved and protected without being harmed, poached & hunted, have a place to stay in nature, availability of food resources and to fly wherever and whenever they desired
Fly high – Brave voyagers of the land, achieving greater heights and distance
Call for Abstracts
The theme of the conference is “Hornbills: Fly Free Fly High”.
Submission of abstracts on the conference theme is now open until October 31, 2016. Please submit your abstracts in English, not exceeding 200 words to 7thIHC2017@gmail.com. Priority will be given to abstracts covering the following subthemes:
· Subtheme 1: Conservation Status Of Hornbills: Threats, Trade And Population
· Subtheme 2: Biology and Husbandry
· Subtheme 3: Habitat Fragmentation and Connectivity
· Subtheme 4: Importance of Hornbills: Ecosystem, Culture, Tourism and Awareness
Full papers of accepted abstracts must be submitted to the Secretariat by January 31, 2017. Conference Proceedings will be published and distributed after the conference.
