The ENVIS Resource Partner on Avian Ecology, Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), organized a Certificate Course in Bird Ringing and Migration Studies. The duration of the course was for 24 days, and was held from January 14, 2020 to February 06, 2020.

 

The course included various topics such as bird migratory study techniques, bird counting techniques, monitoring skills, flyways & Central Asian Flyway, wetland connectivity, agreements and international conventions on flyways, bird marking techniques, data collection and inference. It covered the various aspects of basic migration and the ringing techniques utilized in migration studies.
